Reagan Miley

My name is Regan Miley, I am 21 years old. I was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I am the youngest in my family with one older sister. In my spare time, I love to be outdoors and at my cabin, go hiking, and enjoy time with my family.

I have a passion for helping others and my career goal is to be a trauma and addiction counselor. To follow this passion I came to Lewiston, ID to attend Lewis-Clark State College. I will be graduating May 15, 2020 with my Bachelor’s in Social Work. After that, I will be attending University of New England Online to obtain my Master of Social Work. In December of 2021 I will be graduating with MSW.

I have worked as a Habilitative Support and Respite worker in Idaho Falls for 3 summers – working with children and teens that have developmental disabilities. My senior year internship has been with First Step 4 Life in Lewiston, ID. From my time here I have learned so much about the world of addiction and mental health and will be the VISTA at the center for the next year. My VISTA position starts on May 11, 2020 and I am so excited to get started and serve First Step 4 Life, Recovery Idaho, and VISTA AmeriCorps for a year!
